Facts out: Tobacco industry

There are 1.3 billion smokers in the world, 6 million die every year, the most affected country by this problem is China, it's a subject that should be approached, so let's go for it.

Nowadays the tobacco industry is one of the most influent institutions in the world, the most influent brand is Marlboro with a market share of above 50%, the Marlboro shares valued 37 cents in one year (in the New York stock exchange).

One of the main producers is the Philip Morris factory with profits around 2.88 billions in the last year, increasing around 9% facing the year before, it's revenues rose 10%in 1 year, even if we count the taxes for the activity we still have 17 billions left.

In the factory the top selling product is of course Marlboro, representing 40% of all sales, Marlboro is responsible for 6.8 billions in profit after taxes for the Philip Morris factory, a factory that exports 217 billion cigarettes all over the world.
