It's actually a very simple question, but most people have the wrong idea, it's not just having pageviews and you make money, it's more complex than that.
The most common way is through affiliate programs.
This means that you get affiliated with a corporation and you promote their products or the products that they want to advertise, the most common ways to get paid for that are through commission (you get a part of the value of a product you helped to sell by implementing an ad) through RPM (this means that you get paid a fixed value for each 1000 ad prints or 1000 pageviews or ad views) CPC (cost per click, it means that you get paid fr each click on one ad).
This is a very easy way to get money from a website and it's the one used for many websites, google came to revolutionize that with AdSense, that makes possible for everyone to make money online.
For big websites you have direct advertising, you rent a part of your website to a direct advertiser that pays you for that space so that he can advertise there, it can be on any of the forms that are practiced on the affiliate programs or simply a monthly fee.
Some websites also have products to sell, mostly ebooks, it's extremely normal to make a lot from these especially if you have great content or skills to share, curiously most of the ebooks online are about blogging.
If you want to make money from a website it's pretty simple and it comes down to just a couple of things.
You must have original content, continuously work on your website, promote your website and your content and try to make it engaging for users to come back, if you can do each of these steps well you should have no problem having a profitable website or blog.
A blog about economics, finance and business and some offbeat topics, simple and with regard to modern problems with a fresh prespective.

General: Money in sports

| Money in sports |
To say that you have to know how do people make money in sports, well there are basically 3 ways:
Player exchange- You have a player in your club, when he is transferred to another club you can make money or lose money. There is also the chance that a player that has been training in the academy of a club goes to another club, in that case you can only make money. Then there are contract clauses that can make the buyer spend a lot more than he should, thins is the obvious way.
Team ads- It's fairly simple. the ad from a corporation is printed on the player's shirts and for that exposure the company has to pay a given value, usually is quite high because you get your brand connected with a football team so you get a great market share between the fans, it's common to see it even in small clubs.
League- Either a league or a cup always has sponsors, it works basically like an ad, its extremely expensive to sponsor a league or cup, you get a great exposure but you have to pay for it, you get you name associated with a sport and that is a great advantage if you have a close competitor (for example in the brewery industry), that's where the money comes to the prizes for all the teams, divided by the rank with they have placed.
So, yeah there is a lot of money in sports, it would be healthy to make a limit for it, but it would still tend to increase the amount of money in it, it's just how it works.

Basically there are 2 ways:
Selling- Sites like ebay or amazon make money by selling products, that's where their revenue comes from, in the case of ebay it's just an intermediate but all the people involved with those websites or the website itself makes money by selling, the Internet simply works as a way of getting your good or service by a wider range of people.
Adds- Many websites have adds, it works in the same way as real world adds, a person or companies pays to have their adds featured in a space, in this case cybernetic space. The publisher gets payed in case the person clicks on the add or by the number of views, adds can come in many different ways, but the goal is always to get another entity noticed either than the publisher,
In this field there are also affiliate programs, a companie pays the publisher to sell their product, that publisher gets paid by commission on the sale.
It looks simples but the cybernetic consumer is very suspicious and is almost always afraid to click on anything and buying is almost always out of the question, the only way you can make any money is by having a great amount of traffic and that comes from quality, it doesn't mather which adds you place it's gonna come down to that.
It's not impossible, it's just a constant struggle, most people can't survive on an Internet business, so if you want to do something be genuine, do what you want, because if you get in for pleasure the passion will get you through the day, not the money.

Web income: Ray william johnson (equals 3)
![]() |
| Equals 3 sticker |
It's actually an easy answer.
Let's take Ray William Johnson counting only equals 3, he has other channels (for example breaking NYC) but we will get to that later.
Focusing on equals 3 Ray gets about 2 million views per day, give or take,, so if you take that and see the average YouTube income for each 1.000 views you will see that he makes about 4.000$ per day in average.
If you just take those 4.000$ per day and check it for a year you will get something like 1,5 million per year.
Now once again you have to take in account that he has some expenses with producers and other staff, if you take in account that 50% of the income can pay for those expenses you'll get something like 750.000$ per year.
Also i am not counting merchandise, just one channel (equals 3)
This is a relatively simple and realistic simulation, it may go around that value, you should always think about the expenses that he has to create his content, he is not alone, still he is making money doing what he likes to do, not many people can say that.
If you don't know him, here's the link to this channel: Equals 3
