Tumblr is a social news website, 39 in the Alexa rank, it's a site that basically, like any other social news website it lets you share whatever you want with the rest of the world and your close friends in the most practical way. We are here to look into it and try to discover how much tumblr is worth and how much does it make.

To start-off we take the pageviews, Tumblr has approximately 25,641,026pageviews per day, it's really something but what really mathers is how much income it gets, of coarse the pageviews have a great deal of importance but Tumblr doesn't really use much advertising space, it leave it with about 77,000$ per day, still a dreamy amount for most people, I presume. This would leave us at about  28,000,000$ per year, that is a lot of money.

Like any other extremely trendy website Tumblr is worth a lot, about 56,150,000$ and it has enough income for any person to feel happy, it also has an extremely low bounce rate and most users come back regularly.

It is also one of the few websites that is increasing it's value and is expected to continue to do so, it's an amazing deal.

It's a very simples website, not that much to be said, it shares funny videos and pictures, it has great rants, really amazing, everybody probably knows it, it has over  600.000pageviews per day, that generates 1.800$per day, granted that's not that much, still the site is not that strong or focused on advertising, so it's a good value.

Given all this this simples, just for fun website is worth over 1,315,300$, it's in the top2000 most valuable websites and it's really fun to surf, i recommend it to everyone.

For who doesn't know 9gag.com is a great website by Rollin egg, it's basically a platform for users to submit posts (gags) and the whole community votes it, going from a voting stage, to trending, to hot, divided into 3 pages so to speak, with a growing number of views in that order.

Well, 9gag has about 4.219.410 pageviews per day, that is surprising for a website with about 4 years, nowadays the daily income is about  12.500$, that would leave you with an annual income of 4.500.000$, that is a real number.


9gag is also extremely famous for being one of the websites with the lowest bounce rate in the entire web, today the website that started as a simples project by friends is worth about 9.250.000$, that's over 9 million dollars, for a simple project it showed amazing growth, all you can say is keep up the good work, despite it's recent loss of market value it is still an amazing spot that i would recommend to everyone, if you don't know it check it out.

Today we are going to talk about Ray's channel Breaking NYC, it's a more personal blog about his live, not quite as famous as equals 3, but still worth mentioning.

This channel has 35.000 views per day, if you go for the average YouTube payment on that you'll get something like 70$ per day.

Now for the whole year we just get the 70$ per day and apply that for a year, you'll get something like 25.500 $per year, give or take.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that he has no expenses on this, it's a very personal blog, you are really looking at an income of 25k$ per year before taxes.

Following up on the last post let's check out how mutch does nigahiga makes on youtube.

Nigahiga is a Youtube celeberty, he gets about 1 million views per day, he was the most suscribed youtuber for a while, now that spot belongs to Ray William Johnson.

Nigahiga (Ryan Higa) gets about 1 million views per day, if you take in accout the usual youtube payment you get about 2.000$ per day, give or take a couple of $.

So if you take that to a year you'll get about 730.000$ per year.
Ryan has no production company and his post are somehow iregular, still he usualy uses friends, probably he does not have to share the income with his friends, it's just a colaboration, everybody gets free advertizing and has fun.

So Ryan Higa's yearly paycheck should be about 725.000$, excluding merchandising and considering some production costs.
